Men of Action

On Saturday, January 25^th, 2014, a group of men from Summersett Baptist Church held a meeting @ 8:00am in the Fellowship Hall. The purpose of this meeting was to establish / organize a men’s group similar to that of our ladies WMU Organization. As a result of this meeting, the “MEN of ACTION” was founded.

Since the origination of the MOA, we, as a group, have been able to complete several projects such as the construction of several handicap ramps; repair storage buildings; minor repairs to homes; give monetary gifts to God’s Pit Crew, start a recycle system for aluminum cans; work with the youth on trash pickup (church road).

The men’s ministry at Summersett Baptist Church seeks to encourage our brothers in Christ and develop Godly men, husbands, and fathers. Men need to be connected and accountable to God and each other. We are involved in mission work and the advancement of the kingdom of Christ. We welcome men of all ages to join us at one of our many breakfast meetings or Men of Action functions. Love in Christ.
